I had a delightful stay at a charming, Victorian-style B&B in Gold Country. The breakfast provided was absolutely scrumptious, consisting of two courses - a delicious coffee cake and fresh fruits, followed by a mouthwatering main course. The homemade quality of the breakfast made it the highlight of my stay. The room itself had a cozy country-style decor, adding to the quaint atmosphere of the place. The B&B also had a lovely, unique vibe, which was exactly what I was looking for, rather than a generic chain hotel experience. Despite a few minor issues with the lighting and a faulty lamp, the overall ambiance of the Victorian house was quite pleasing.
While I enjoyed the unique experience and homemade breakfast, there were a couple of drawbacks. the bed was a bit soft and didn't provide enough back support, which affected my sleep quality.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a great location. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The gal who runs the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were plenty of towels and pillows available. I had a lovely getaway close to town and I would definitely return!

I had a wonderful time staying at The Palm Hotel. I was visiting Yosemite National Park and chose this hotel as a stopover. The owners, Ken and Anita, were incredibly kind and hospitable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Additionally, the location was convenient and close to nearby attractions such as Columbia State Park and Sonora. I highly recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations.

The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from and it was great to have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. the location was perfect as it was within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the city on foot. the complimentary coffee and snacks were a nice touch.
Although the room was clean, some of the furnishings were outdated and could use an update. some of the amenities were lacking, such as there not being any bottled water provided.

Located just a short walk from downtown, this hotel offers convenience and accessibility. My room was spacious and included a well-appointed bathroom. the friendly staff was quick to provide excellent service as needed. the breakfast in the morning was a great way to start my day. leisure facilities were on-site, including a fitness room and a swimming pool.
The noise from the street could be heard throughout the night making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
